Meg Krieg graduated from Whitworth University with a Bachelor's degree in Music and an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy. While at Whitworth, Mrs. Krieg studied piano with Judith Schoepflin and organ with Michael Young. Upon receiving her degree, Mrs. Krieg studied organ with Werner Schumacher at the Konstanzer Kirche in Ditzingen, Germany. She received further training in organ with Monte Maxwell at the Naval Academy Chapel, Annapolis, MD, and locally with Frederick Frahm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bellingham. Mrs. Krieg serves Spring Creek Bible Church as pianist and is Music Artistry Program Chair for the Lynden Music Teachers Association. Mrs. Krieg's goal as a piano teacher is to instill a love of music in students, as well as a solid foundation of musical skills, using classical teaching methods. Traditionally, Mrs. Krieg's studios have been fun and innovative, giving students opportunities to interact with each other and learn in group environments. As an instructor of all ages and abilities, her piano studio consists of 60 and 80 minute private weekly lessons, combined with computer lab time, monthly group lessons and monthly performance classes.
