Sherry Vandenbos

Hello! My name is Sherry VandenBos. I love teaching piano because I love kids and I love watching kids learn, succeed, and gain confidence by playing the piano. My college degree from Calvin College focused on Elementary Education and Physical Education. After six years of teaching school (3rd grade and 6th grade), I stopped to raise our four children. I have been teaching piano since 1990 and offer 45-minute or 60-minute private lessons Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. I encourage my students to study a variety of music, including playing from lead sheets. I also encourage my students to write their own music and teach them how to use Finale, a computer song writing program.
